With a l i g a t el you lift the hooker, hear the ring tone and simply dial the desired phone number. No need to dial any code or special procedure.

It is so simple that in fact you can have it working seconds after you receive your l i g a t el package. And we ship all necessary equipment to have it fully working including connection cables.

Installation

Plug the MTA Adaptor (Handy Tone 486 device that you have been shipped, WAN output) with your Internet modem. Than you just have to connect your regular home telephone device to the Handy Tone 486.

That's all. Simple, right?

If you want to navigate in the Internet and use your l i g a t el simultaneously, it's also very simple to configure. You will have to connect your computer into the Handy Tone 486 (LAN output). The router allows you to share your Internet connection through various devices.

And how does my call end up in the US?

All you have to think is that you are simply in the US, when you lift the hooker. You dial and speak to the person you called.

Technically, the Handy Tone 486 converts your voice from an analogical sign into a digital sign. This sign can then be transmitted through your broadband Internet connection, since it can be read as a data string.

When someone calls you he dials your l i g a t el number that, after all, is an internet address. This address allows the connection to navigate in the Internet through our network and into your Handy Tone 486, making your phone ring. You just have to lift the hooker.
